Convaa vs Slack AI

An AI in the conversation, not a summary of it afterwards.

Slack AI is very good at catching you up on a channel. Convaa is for the other half of the job: the collaborative working session where the team and the model think through something together, live.

Common questions

Does Convaa replace Slack?
No, and it is not trying to. Slack is where your team talks all day. Convaa is where a group sits down with an AI to work something out, and the result usually gets shared back into Slack as a link.
Why not just use Slack AI?
Slack AI is built to summarize and search conversations that already happened. Convaa is built for the conversation itself, with the model reading the whole thread as several people add to it.
Can people outside our Slack join?
Yes. A Convaa thread is a link, and someone can open it and start prompting without an account, which is usually awkward to arrange with a Slack guest.
