Start a private one-to-one chat with anyone in your workspace, with the same AI as every other thread.
Not every conversation belongs in a shared channel. A direct message is a private thread between you and one other person, and it works exactly like the rest of the product — the same models, the same history, the same ability to bring the AI in when you want it.
A DM stays between the two of you. Nobody can be added to it, it never appears in an admin's channel list, and it cannot be turned into a public link, so a private conversation stays private by construction rather than by everyone remembering to be careful.
Leave a DM and reopen it later and you land back in the same conversation, right where you left off.
